Introduction

I am a photographer.  You are also a photographer.  This is because technology is such that everyone is a photographer.  This is great.  There is a quote that says photography will never be a true art form until the price of the camera is affordable as pencils and paper.  That time has come.

The problem still arises as to what to do with your images.  Put them on facebook? Yeah, but that is no gallery.  Frame them?  That gets expensive.  Get them in a magazine?  Sure, if you can find one.

I’ve decided to take the lion’s share of my images from the last four years and start my own limited run magazine: “Day Trip from Eau Claire.”  The focus will be on anything cool that is reasonable driving distance from Eau Claire.

This is going to be a great project.  Like my previous projects, “100 adventure photographs” and “the state parks of WISCONSIN” I look forward to sharing this with you.
